The iGaming Business Affiliate Awards Night

After weeks of promotional advertisements by gaming affiliates, vendors and operators and speculation, the list has finally been completed and the nominations are in for the IGB Affiliate Awards. Alex Pratt of iGaming Business said on November 2nd, 2009 that it has been a long process. Pratt said that they have received a lot of nominations compared last year.

They had to seriously consider whether they will include all of the names nominated but it was the only way to make sure that everyone will have an equa opportunity in the voting process. They are very happy how important the IGB Affiliate Awards have become over the past years and the amount of interest that it generates. Pratt said that he cannot stress enough how important is to begin voting as soon as possible since even a single vote can make a difference.

The organizers of the affiliate seriwes of events, iGaming Business, have received a lot of nominations with several categories receiving hundreds of names. The online gaming market has proven itself resilient of the economic crisis, with improvement in the number of gaming operators and affiliates making it a very competitive market.

Of particular note is the highly lucrative affiliate sector, with hundreds of new affiliates connecting online annually and operators expanding into new alternative casino games like backgammon, which is fast becoming well-like among online players.

The iGB Affiliate Awards will be held on January 28th, 2010 at the 5* Grange St Paul's Hotel with the goal of honoring and entertaining the participants. With more than a third of the tables of the awards night already sold, it seems that it will be another sell-out night, with an expected five hundred guests.
