Mark Bramley Wins the 10th Annual Omar Sharif Poker and Backgammon Tournament

The tenth yearly Omar Sharif Poker and Backgammon Tournament happened on Sunday, May 16th, 2010, at the restaurant and club Sketch, which can be found in London, United Kingdom.

The tournament raised more than 110,000 euros for the children's charitable organization, One-to-One. Some of the best poker players in the poker circuit participated in the tournament like Roland De Wolfe, Karl Mahrenholz, James Akenhead and Roberto Romanello.

Aside from the poker pros at the event tables, there were also numerous celebrities that participated in the tournament like Hardeep Singh Kohli, Neve Campbell, Douglas Henshali, Ed Byrne, Navin Chowdhry, Justin Edwards and others.

The non-profit poker and backgammon tournament was eventually won by Mark Bramley. In the final table of the tournament, he faced formidable players like Michael Greco and Beverly Pace.

The final table prize payouts were: 1st: Mark Bramley-(3,000 pounds), 2nd: Beverly Pace-(2,000 pounds), 3rd: Azzy Ashgar-(1,250 pounds), 4th: Jonny Doulton-(1,000 pounds), 5th: Ben Page-(800 pounds), 6th: Kevin Daly-(600 pounds), 7th: Matt Dale-(500 pounds), 8th: Michael Greco-(450 pounds) and 9th: Reza Maghzian-(400 pounds).
