Mindgammon Board Game to Debut By The Fall of 2008
It was announced on June 13th, 2008, that after a number of years spend on conceptualizing and making Mindgammon, it will be available for purchase in the fall of 2008. Christian Bailey, the co-founder of Mindgammon commented that the game is another variation of the game of Backgammon. The Mindgammon game was conceptualize and made by Wayne Hulsen, the chairman of the company, after almost twenty years of careful design and laying out the groundwork for the next generation of the game of Backgammon.
Hulsen wanted to make Mindgammon easy to understand so that even beginners can fully understand the game without any trouble at all. He also wants the game to continually stimulate the intellect of the players. For more than five year, both Bailey and Hulsen developed and tested with the new backgammon game in order to make sure that it will meet all of the required standards that they have imposed.
Back in 2007, they debut the concept of the game at the Chicago Toy and Fair Game and the reception that they have received from players was encouraging. A lot of people from different age groups and economic bracket participated in the 1st ever Mindgammon event, which lasted for 3 days and was held at the Navy Pier in Chicago.
The winners of the event received various prizes like a five hundred dollars gas card. The Mindgammon board game will be made by using beech wood, polymer and chipboard and will be offered from $29.95 dollars to $129.95 dollars.
